Trajectcontrole Installation & Setup

Setting up MTM-TRAJECTCONTROLE on your FiveM server requires only a few minutes. The resource is completely standalone-ready and utilizes automatic file-based JSON storage, meaning no SQL database setup or migrations are necessary.

MTM-TRAJECTCONTROLE is completely standalone and has no mandatory dependencies. Optional resources can be added to expand functionality:

Resource Requirement Level Purpose
MTM-MATRIXBORDEN or MTM-MATRIXDEV Optional Dynamic speed limit synchronization with overhead highway gantries
MTM-ANPR Optional Automated dispatch forwarding for speeding violators and off-road evaders
Billing / Banking Script Optional Automatic fine collection (ESX, QBCore, Qbox, okokBilling, Renewed, pefcl)

  1. Extract Resource Files Extract the downloaded folder directly into your server’s resources/ directory. Ensure the folder is named exactly:

    resources/MTM-TRAJECTCONTROLE/
  2. Verify Folder Hierarchy Confirm that the resource contains the following internal structure:

    MTM-TRAJECTCONTROLE/
    ├── client/
    │ ├── camera_props.lua
    │ ├── creator.lua
    │ ├── effects.lua
    │ ├── gates.lua
    │ └── main.lua
    ├── data/
    │ └── trajecten.json
    ├── server/
    │ ├── billing.lua
    │ ├── evasion.lua
    │ ├── main.lua
    │ ├── matrix_sync.lua
    │ └── storage.lua
    ├── ui/
    │ ├── index.html
    │ ├── style.css
    │ └── app.js
    ├── config.lua
    └── fxmanifest.lua
  3. Configure Boot Sequencing in server.cfg Add MTM-TRAJECTCONTROLE to your server.cfg. If you use optional integrations like matrix signs or billing, place them before MTM-TRAJECTCONTROLE:

    # Optional integrations (start before Trajectcontrole if used)
    ensure MTM-MATRIXDEV # or MTM-MATRIXBORDEN
    ensure MTM-ANPR
ensure okokBilling # or your preferred billing / phone system
    # Main resource
    ensure MTM-TRAJECTCONTROLE
  4. Review Configuration Settings Open config.lua in your code editor to verify basic gameplay parameters:

    • Language: Set Config.Language = "en" or "nl".
    • Measurement Unit: Set Config.SpeedUnit = "kmh" or "mph".
    • Speed Multiplier: Keep 3.6 for km/h or 2.236936 for mph.
    • Fine System: Choose your billing system ("auto", "direct_bank", "okokBilling", etc.).
    • Admin Permissions: Set Config.CreatorPermission to restrict who can create or delete routes.
  5. Start or Restart Server Start your FXServer. The server console should display:

[MTM-TRAJECTCONTROLE] Succesvol dynamic trajecten geladen uit data/trajecten.json
[MTM-TRAJECTCONTROLE] Matrix Synchronization Engine: Geactiveerd via MTM-MATRIXDEV

After connecting to your server, verify the installation using these commands:

Command Permission Purpose
/trajectmap Configurable Opens the interactive section control map tablet. Verify that existing default routes render.
/trajectcreate Admin Opens the 3D in-game section creator tool to build new highway corridors.

If speed limits on the highway do not adjust when matrix signs are changed:

  1. Verify that MTM-MATRIXBORDEN or MTM-MATRIXDEV is started before MTM-TRAJECTCONTROLE in server.cfg.
  2. Ensure Config.SyncWithMatrix = true is set in config.lua.
  3. Check the server console upon boot to confirm that the synchronization engine successfully bound to the matrix resource.

If camera mast props do not appear above the highway:

  1. Ensure Config.EnableCameraProps = true is set in config.lua.
  2. Check Config.CameraStreamingDistance (default 140.0 meters).
  3. If using custom props, verify that your server is streaming the corresponding prop pack (MTM-MATRIXPROPS or standard GTA V objects).
