In-Game User Guide

This guide explains how to operate MTM-PADUI in-game, including gesture triggers, system controls, and built-in applications.

1. Operating the Hardware Frame

Section titled “1. Operating the Hardware Frame”

MTM-PADUI renders a high-definition tablet chassis designed with iPadOS proportions.

Opening and Closing

Section titled “Opening and Closing”
  • Open / Toggle: Press F3 or type /tablet in chat.
  • Close: Press ESC or click the Home Indicator bar at the bottom of the screen.

Draggable Chassis & Centering

Section titled “Draggable Chassis & Centering”
  • Repositioning: Click and drag the pill handle located at the top center of the bezel to move the tablet anywhere on your screen.
  • Auto-Centering: Double-click the drag handle or the top camera dot to instantly snap the tablet back to the center of your monitor.

2. System Shell & Gestures

Status Bar

Displays the live in-game time, day of the week, date, 5G cellular signal, Wi-Fi connection, and battery level.

Notification Center

Pull down from the top-left of the status bar to view system notices, ANPR hits, and speed alerts.

Control Center

Pull down from the top-right of the status bar to adjust screen brightness, toggles, and view server statistics.

Home Indicator

Click or swipe the horizontal pill bar at the bottom of any active app to instantly return to the Home Screen.

Control Center Controls

Section titled “Control Center Controls”
  • Brightness Slider: Dynamically adjusts the tablet display overlay brightness from 10% to 100%.
  • Connectivity Toggles: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Airplane Mode status toggles.
  • Shortcuts: One-click access to the Calculator, Notes, Flashlight, and Screen Mirroring.
  • Live Server Status: Real-time counter displaying currently connected players and total server capacity.

3. Built-in Applications

Notes App

Section titled “Notes App”

A complete personal notebook with multi-folder organization:

  • Instant Save: Notes are created and saved immediately as soon as you start typing.
  • Folder Management: Create custom folders (e.g. Investigations, Vehicle Plates, Personal Reminders) to keep your notes organized.
  • Search & Filter: Search through note titles and content with real-time text matching.
  • Multi-Language Support: All placeholder texts, folder titles, and empty state labels automatically translate according to the selected system language.
  • Persistence: Content is stored securely in the database or KVP uniquely per player license.

Compass & Telemetry

Section titled “Compass & Telemetry”

A live navigation suite designed for field units and patrol officers:

  • 360° Compass: Displays high-precision clockwise compass headings with visual cardinal direction needles.
  • Vehicle Gyroscope: Real-time pitch and roll angles.
  • Altimeter: Live altitude readout based on world Z coordinates.
  • Street & Zone: Displays current street names, intersections, and neighborhood postal zones.

Calculator

Section titled “Calculator”
  • Apple-style high-precision calculation engine.
  • Supports addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and sign inversion.

Clock & Alarms

Section titled “Clock & Alarms”
  • World Clock: Current time with second precision.
  • Stopwatch: Precision millisecond stopwatch with lap tracking.
  • Timer: Countdown timer with audio chime completion.
  • Alarms: Set recurring or one-time alerts with customizable labels.

Maps App

Section titled “Maps App”
  • High-resolution interactive map of the GTA V map.
  • Interactive pan and zoom controls for navigation and tactical planning.

App Store

Section titled “App Store”
  • Catalog Browsing: Discover pre-registered applications sorted by category (Law Enforcement, Traffic & Infrastructure, Productivity, Games).
  • App Details: View developer credentials, version numbers, descriptions, and user ratings.
  • Install / Uninstall: Players can customize their Home Screen by installing or removing optional applications at will.

Arcade Games

Section titled “Arcade Games”
  • TicTacToe: Quick-match strategy game with single and two-player options.
  • Snake: Classic retro arcade snake with high score tracking.
  • 2048: Tile sliding mathematical puzzle game.

Settings App

Section titled “Settings App”
  • Appearance: Toggle between Dark and Light OS display modes.
  • Wallpapers: Select from preloaded OS 26 wallpapers.
  • Language: Switch system language between Nederlands and English without restarting the resource.
  • Timezone: Set local regional time offsets.
  • Position Reset: Reset the tablet frame position back to screen center.
