Matrix Signs Installation & Setup

Setting up the MTM Matrix Signs system on your FiveM server requires a few simple steps. Follow this guide to install resource packages, configure boot sequencing, and verify in-game functionality.

Required Resource Packages

Before starting the resource, ensure you have the following packages downloaded from your Keymaster Granted Assets:

Package Type Description
MTM-MATRIXBORDEN Core Script + Asset Stream Dedicated asset package containing custom 3D matrix gantry props, high-definition sign textures, the client prop streamer, synchronization engine, NUI interface, and REST API.
MTM-PADUI (Optional) Tablet App Virtual iPadOS tablet integration for in-vehicle mobile operation (Coming Soon).

Detailed Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Extract Resource Files Extract MTM-MATRIXBORDEN into your server’s resources/ directory (for example within a resources/[mountainmods]/ folder):

  2. Configure Server Start Order in server.cfg Open your server.cfg and add the startup command as shown below.

    # MTM Matrix Signs Suite
    ensure MTM-MATRIXBORDEN

  3. Verify Server Console Initialization Start or restart your FiveM server. Check the server console log for the initialization banner:

In-Game Verification Checklist

Once you connect to your FiveM server, perform the following verification steps:

  1. Open the Control Menu: Press F5 or type /matrix:menu in chat.
  2. Select a Gantry: Click any matrix icon on the highway map.
  3. Configure a Lane: Select an advisory speed (e.g., 70) on Lane 1 and click APPLY SITUATION (Wijzig Situatie).
  4. Drive to Verify: Travel to the gantry location on the highway to confirm that the 3D prop is visible and properly illuminated.
  5. Restore Situation: Reopen the menu and click RESTORE ORIGINAL SITUATION (Herstel Originele Situatie) to clear the sign.
